The Jeremy Curtis Band, as it is now, was formed in the summer of 2005. Originally started back in 2002, the band was formed to lead worship for a youth and college worship service on Wednesday nights in Vidalia, Ga. Three of the band members still exist in the band today (Jeremy Curtis, Jonathan Lewis, and Chris Rainey). The next year the band would lead worship at BSU for Brewton-Parker College while still leading worship in Vidalia at First Baptist. In the summer of 2005 Mike Price would offer his talents to the band, thus officially creating the Jeremy Curtis Band. The four continue to lead worship at BSU and at First Baptist Vidalia while traveling throughout the year to play at Disciple Now Weekends, Youth Rallies, FCA Rallies/Revivals, and other events. Not seeking the approval of man, the four feel they have one calling: Leading people in worship to the throne of our Lord by the means of music. |
